- Yoga Mat
- Bottle of Water
- Large Towel (Mat and Towel are included in the Intro Offer)
- Dress in light workout attire, Shorts, Tank Top or T-shirt
- Arrive at least 15 minutes before your first class to register and get comfortable with your surroundings.
- Drink plenty of water the day you decided to come so that your body will be hydrated and ready to sweat.
- Don't eat for at least 1 hour before class and avoid
anything heavy for 2-3 hours before your practice.
A light meal eaten 2 or more hours before your visit to the studio is ideal.
- Reminder: please leave all valuables at home or in your car as we do not have lockers at this time.
Yoga is absolutely non-competitive.
It is not just a "work-out." It is not just "cross-training."
It is a practice, which makes the body stronger, more flexible,
and generally healthier. The aim is to calm the mind,
open the heart and accelerate our evolution.
The "healing heat" of Bikram Yoga happens when breathing, movement and heat come together.
Also, heat helps you sweat and sweat is one of the most
important mechanisms of natural healing, since it enables
the body to release toxins, metabolic debris and excess fluid.
Your skin is the largest elimination organ in your body,
so the more you sweat the more toxins you release.
Since the heat will assist in opening all the muscles
of the body this will also increase your mobility within
the postures and decrease the risk of injury.
