Recently, one of my patients told me about Bikram Yoga and I thought I would give it a
try. As a chiropractor, I make it a practice to try new forms of exercise so that I can offer
informed recommendations to my patients based on firsthand knowledge and experience.
Bikram Yoga Studio offered a one week promotional trial and I was amazed after just
those few sessions. I have already noticed a significant increase in my energy level on a
daily basis. I thought the ninety minutes in the heat would drain me, but I was mistaken.
Since starting the classes, my energy level had increased so much that I have already
begun to run faster with less effort. I am not sure if this is because Bikram Yoga has
taught me how to use my lung capacity to the maximum or if it has awakened many of
the muscles that were neglected from chronic spasm. I now also have greater balance and
control at the gym when I am working with weights. I feel as if I hold my shoulders back
and down away from my ears for the first time since I can remember. I attribute this to
the relaxation part of the class that helped me just ‘be’ combined with the enhanced focus
on my breathing.
I’ve already referred my mother, my husband, and my weight training friends to try
Bikram Yoga. I can’t wait for them to experience the same benefits I’ve encountered.

what my exercise routine was missing, until now. Count me among your many dedicated
